Rarely does it happen but I had a jam Wednesday evening. There was just no way I could do Badgley Mischka at Delmonico’s in the financial district at 5pm, chat with my girl Coco Mitchell for a moment, and then make it all the way up to the Red Rooster restaurant in Harlem for Byron Lars, Sheila Gray and my favorite milliner Lisa McFadden’s IN EARNEST presentation at 6. I had to make a choice and since I was rocking DOT, one of Lisa’s latest creations, I left the Bibhu Mohapartra show, grabbed a nibble and then told my driver to head uptown.

It was a small and intimate show held in the supper club down below. No big-named celebs were on hand sucking up all the air. There wasn’t even a front row. But the audience was fly in comfy leather seats and rocking out to an old James Brown cut. It was fun with lots of press coverage. Big Ups to Byron, Sheila and Lisa! So that’s it. Another New York Fashion Week done! What do you think? Should I dash across the pond and see what’s popping off during London Fashion Week or maybe do Paris the week after? I’ll sleep on it and let you know…SMOOCHES!
